  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  2. Trim the bottoms of the Brussels sprouts and remove any damaged leaves. Clean under running water.
  3. Steam the Brussels sprouts until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool.
  4. Toss cooled sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Arrange on the baking sheet and smash each sprout into flat patties using the bottom of a cup.
  5. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the smashed sprouts.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
