Ingredients
- 3–4 cups Brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Trim the bottoms of the Brussels sprouts and remove any damaged leaves. Clean under running water.
- Steam the Brussels sprouts until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool.
- Toss cooled sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Arrange on the baking sheet and smash each sprout into flat patties using the bottom of a cup.
- Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the smashed sprouts.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
