Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 baguette (sliced into 1/2 inch thick rounds)
  • 250 g Baby Bella mushrooms (thinly sliced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Marsala apple vinegar
  • 1 package Brie cheese (sliced)
  • Olive oil (for brushing and cooking)
  • Fresh parsley (finely chopped for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add sliced mushrooms. Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Pour in the Marsala apple vinegar and simmer until reduced by half. Season with salt, pepper, and optional crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Place a slice of Brie on each toasted baguette slice, followed by a generous spoonful of the mushroom mixture. Return to the oven to bake for another 3-5 minutes until Brie melts.
  4. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving warm.
