Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup salted butter (softened)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter (not natural)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 44 Whoppers
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 ounces)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in egg, peanut butter, and vanilla; mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Roll tablespoon-sized portions into balls and coat in granulated sugar before placing on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 8 minutes or until lightly golden at the edges. Immediately press one Whopper into the center of each cookie.
