  • 5 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 ounces caramel bites
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 tablespoons butter (for caramel)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 5 tablespoons of butter. Add vegan marshmallows and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In another saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, caramels, and 5 tablespoons of butter. Melt over medium heat while stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted marshmallow mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Pour the caramel mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle sea salt over the caramel layer and let cool for about 15 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, heat heavy cream in a small saucepan until bubbling. Pour over chocolate chips in a bowl and stir until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the chocolate sauce over the cooled treats, sprinkle with more sea salt, and allow to set before cutting into squares.
