  • 1 bell pepper, diced any color
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef or vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground meat in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
  2. Add kidney beans, black beans, crushed tomatoes, diced onion, minced garlic, diced bell pepper, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and broth to the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
